Announcement of International Gaming Awards

International Gaming Awards 2012 has been declared to be held on 23rd January, 2012. It is the most prestigious event of the online casino industry. Winners of popular events like Golden Globes and Emmys are nominated for different categories of the award ceremony. The event is to be held at the Sheraton Park Lane Hotel, London.

Nominations of different award categories will be announced by October 18. A panel of judges will be reviewing the nominations. This is the fifth year of the award ceremony and its popularity is enhanced every year. The award categories included for the event include best online casino, most efficient software supplier, creativity awards, best poker site and best bingo room, A new category has been introduced this year- the ‘best mobile operator’. The increasing popularity of mobile gambling, has led to the inclusion of this award category.

The biggest award of International Gaming Awards is the ‘best casino site of the year’. For this award, judges will look at specific aspects like, game variety, innovativeness, payment methods and marketing strategies of casino sites.

The event also aims at making some charitable efforts apart from distributing awards. The charities for this year are for,’ Children with Leukemia’ and ‘Care International’.
